“Wine Flows from the Decanter to the Glass like a River of Memories.” – Fabrizio Caramagna

This 100% Merlot, planted about 35 years ago in Cormòns near the winery center, is grown using the double-arched “cappuccina” training system with a density of 4,500 vines per hectare. After manual harvesting in early October, the wine macerates for about 20 days with daily pump-overs, followed by pressing and aging in barriques for 12 months. Ruby red in color with garnet reflections, it has a pleasant bouquet and a full-bodied, persistent flavor. With 14% alcohol by volume and 4.2 g/l acidity, it is ideal with game and red meats and perfect as a meditation wine. Best served at 18-20°C.
