After harvesting, the grapes are left to macerate in contact with the skins for 24 hours; then follows gentle pressing and fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The result is a wine with coppery reflections, a distinctive feature of this grape variety. The aromas are intense, the bouquet is distinct and pronounced, reminiscent of acacia flowers and ripe fruit. The taste is dry, gentle, and full, with a round and velvety palate, and a pleasantly bitter aftertaste.
It pairs very well with appetizers, particularly ham, as well as fish dishes and white meats. Due to its drinkability, it can be served as an aperitif.
